Classification of Indian languages-
Indian languages are classified into four major classes. indo-european Indo-European family second number two Dravid family number 3 Astik family number 4 Chinese Tibetan family.
73% of the country's population speaks 25% of the Bharopeya family, 25% of the family of the Dravidian family and only 0.7% of the Chinese speaks Tibetan definitions.
1. Indo European languages
About three quarters of the Indian population speaks the languages of European families, their speakers are called Aryans. The languages of this family are divided into two main classes, say Dardi, second Indo Arya Dardi, the class includes Dardi, Sina, Kohistan and Kashmiri languages Of these, only the number of speakers of Kashmiri is more than 20 lakhs, the number of speakers of the remaining languages is 7000. The languages of Indo Arya class have been divided into 6 sub-classes.
· North Western category which includes lehnga birds Sindhi languages.
Southern class which includes Marathi and Konkani languages.
Eastern class which includes Oriya Bihari Bangla Katha Assamese There are many important dialects of Bihari language like Bhojpuri Maithili Magahi etc.
Eastern Middle Class in which the period Bagheli and Chhattisgarhi are the three main Upvar.
Middle class which includes western Hindi, Punjabi, Rajasthani and Gujarati languages. There are many dialects of Hindi such as Badi Boli, Braj Bhasha, Bangaru, Kankannauj, Bulandi etc. In this way, Rajasthani also has many words like Marwari, Mewari, Malaviya etc.
Northern class consisting of various dialects like Nepali, Middle hill, Western hill etc.
